“Italian” Harpsichord after Faby ­ ca. 1680

The instrument is realised in restrained way and consists in a simple wooden instrument embedded in a second decorated case (“Levatoro di cassa”) with lip.

It’s range is GG/B-e’’’ with short and broken octave including the C# and the D#(56 Keys).

  • Pitched at 415 Hz with transpositions to 440 Hz.
  • Two 8’ stops.
  • Length cm 220, width cm 89.
